Ravinder Singh is the bestselling author of I Too Had a Love Story and Can Love Happen Twice?. Like It Happened Yesterday is his third book. After having spent most of his life in Burla, a very small town in western Orissa, Ravinder is currently based in New Delhi. He is an MBA from the renowned Indian School of Business. After working with a few Indian and multinational IT companies for more than eight years, Ravinder has finally taken up writing full-time. He loves playing snooker in his free time. Ravinder Singh, (Author- I too had a Love story, Can Love happen Twice?) Launched the Book, You & Me & Our Relationship- Nikhil Mukhija, a Book upon PSYCHOLOGY OF ATTRACTION, supposedly the first ever book in India written upon this subject. Talking to the Media he discussed various issues like, Mushrooming of chic lit authors, lack of Authors from Literature background, Substance in writings by the young authors and many more. His words were “One has to write what Readers can relate to, yet one should write for himself, not according to what can earn you easy fame or quick money, you need to have a substance in your book and the thing goes wrong when a young author writes keeping in mind what is going on facebook, what was hit by the previous author, so the originality is lost”Tackling the question about the quality in chic lit writing he answered-“ We cannot compare the 2 categories, heavy literature has their own class of readers while What I write or what other authors like write have their own class of following”, it may be a fact that most of the non literature background are getting published that is why this question is being raised but that is not the point, since they are 2 different genres.
